Switching to Ecosia at your small or medium-sized business can be done in just a few clicks.
This guide will show you how to contribute to the Ecosia for Companies movement by following a special install link, which allows us to consolidate the searches from small businesses making the switch. While we unfortunately do not yet offer individual tracking for companies under 1,000 employees, this method allows you to be part of the larger Ecosia for Companies community and helps us to prioritize new exciting features for companies in the future.
If you are already an Ecosia user at your workplace, you do not need to uninstall the extension or app! Simply entering the link into your search bar will update the Ecosia cookie and subsequent searches will contribute to the Ecosia for Companies collective total.

Use Ecosia on Chrome
1.Enter http://ecosia.co/companies in your search bar. This will take you to the Chrome web store
2.Once in the Chrome web store, select Add to Chrome
3.In the pop-up, confirm your choice by clicking on Add extension
4.A new tab should automatically open, showing you a welcome message
Ecosia is now your default search engine!
Use Ecosia on Edge
1.Enter http://ecosia.co/companies in your search bar. This will take you to the Ecosia home screen
2.On this home screen, click on Add to Edge - it’s free. This will take you to the Edge Add-ons site
3.Once in the Edge Add-ons site, click on Get
4.In the pop-up, confirm your choice by clicking on Add extension
5.Microsoft Edge may show you the following, saying Edge has turned off Ecosia
6.Click on the three dots on the top right of your screen. Within the menu, select extensions
7.In the pop-up, select Manage extensions
8.From the extensions menu, toggle on Ecosia
9.A new tab should automatically open, showing you a welcome message
Ecosia is now your default search engine!
Use Ecosia on Firefox
1.Enter http://ecosia.co/companies in your search bar. This will take you to the Firefox Browser Add-ons site.
2.Once in the Firefox Browser Add-ons site, select Add to Firefox
3.In the pop-up, select Add
4.Two more pop-up windows will appear. Click respectively on Yes and Okay. You may also toggle Ecosia on in Private Windows in the menu to the right
Ecosia is now your default search engine!
