The Beta version is not currently available to all users. Thank you for your patience if you don’t yet see the option to sign-in. This is still a beta version, and we will continuously add functionalities. As we are testing different functionalities related to user accounts, your personal experience might differ depending on the test group you are in.
Why did we create Ecosia accounts?
With the Ecosia Account, we aim to bring you closer to the Ecosia community and offer you new features to measure your impact and stay climate-active every day.

- Sync your browsing data: Soon, you'll be able to sync your bookmarks, passwords, and other browsing data across devices.

How to create an account
Ecosia accounts are available on the Ecosia Browser for desktop and mobile browsers on iOS and Android. To create an account, you need to sign in with a Google account. We’re planning to offer more sign-in options in the future.
Follow these steps:
- Open Ecosia on your device.
- Click on the "Sign Up" button.
- Sign in using your Google account credentials.
- Follow the prompts to complete the setup.
How to delete an account
If you wish to delete your Ecosia account, please send a message to techsupport@ecosia.org. Use the email address associated with your account and include the account owner's name in your message. We’ll take it from there.
